Get Your Knives Sharpened!

For Home Kitchens

Send Us Your Knives

With a US Postal Service flat rate padded envelope, we are local to everyone in the US. It takes just 10 minutes to send us your knives.

Step 1 - Select the items you want sharpened.
Step 2 - Write a list of these items, along with your name, address, email and mobile phone number.
Step 3 - Look at our Pricing page and estimate the pricing.
Step 4 - Write a check for the amount of your sharpening. (We can also charge through Square, Paypal or Venmo)
Step 5 - Wrap your knives in newspaper
Step 6 - Stop by your post office and ask for a flat rate, padded envelope. These packages are FREE, so grab a couple extra.
Step 7 - Address the envelope to: Northern Edge Sharpening, 1966 North Farming Road, Arbor Vitae, WI 54568
Step 8 - Drop the knives, knife list, contact info and check in the envelope.
Step 9 - Seal the envelope.
Step 10 - Drop the package at the counter and pay for outbound shipping.

When we receive your package, we will compare your list to your knives. As long as your check is close enough, we put your knives in queue for sharpening. If your check is missing, we will call to arrange payment before knives are put into the queue for sharpening. (At this time, we do not accept credit cards for payment.)

Step 6 - If you pay using PayPal or Venmo, after we receive payment we place your items
in the plastic “Pick Up” bin. Pick them up any time you like.

For Commercial Kitchens

In commercial kitchens, sharp knives mean faster and safer production, better presentation and happier employees. Preferred quality, cleaning sanitizing, allergy risk management, sharing between staff, specific use handle colors, and cross contamination need to be considered in commercial kitchens. Because of these many variables, it's best if we provide a FREE CONSULTATION to those who run the kitchen and manage the finances. Complete the form on our Contact Page and make it clear you are representing a commercial kitchen. We will get back to you soon.
